I am not afraid to work hard and that is why I have not been reprimanded by my dad or upper management. As long as I can get all of my work done, they don’t care how much I show up to the office. I rarely even go to the office as I can work from home or my car and get the same amount accomplished. If I work late at home, I go into the office late so that I don’t have to be paid overtime. Yes, some of these perks are form working for my dad but a lot of the other employees also do the same thing. They choose to come to the office as they have young kids at home so they cant get a lot of work done where I pretty much have the house to myself because my brother’s school year in England doesn’t end until June, my dad goes to the office and does his own thing so I barely see him until he comes home, and my mom does all of her errands and shopping for the day so I don’t see her until the early evening. It may look like I don’t work very hard but I can assure you that I put in 45-50 hours a week between working at home, in the car/on the road, or in the office.

Yup, I work for my dad. It’s not too bad of a gig either as I can come and go when I please, come in late for work and leave early or not show up at all, and take extended lunch breaks with friends. I also don’t have to go into the office all the time as I can work from my house or in the car. It is a great place to work. I enjoy the people I work with as they push me to do better than I already am and to succeed.

All the people I associate with are the same way. Whether it is my peers/friends, associates, acquaintances, or businessmen, they are all the same. I guess this is what happens when you work at a hedge fund and are surrounded by affluent clientele that depend on you to make them money day in and day out. The diva attitude is in place as I work in a male dominated field and I use it as a competitive advantage over the others. In fact, there is only one other women in our office that does the same investment stuff I do. If I want something bad enough I will get it. I also like things to be done my way as I know it is the right way. Therefore, the world revolves around me.

I am far from being lonely or desperate. The nude photos aren’t coming any time soon so I wouldn’t hold your breath. I won’t get over myself as being confident is a quality to have. If material goods get in the way of my confidence, who cares? Definitely not me! I also appreciate working for what I have. Nothing in life is easy but if you want something bad enough, you will try to achieve it. It is Maslow’s self actualization and self-esteem needs which happen to be the two highest needs. There is nothing wrong with the picture I am seeing.

Neither. I do what I want. If it comes across as arrogant so be it. I am only getting one shot to live so why not live it out to the fullest?

The world pretty much revolves around me and I am the best there is and it is too bad that there is only one of me. I make the world go round one day at a time. Essentially, I am the greatest thing since sliced bread. My ego + capitalism = very successful person.
